Please note that while there are signs posted just before reaching Lowell Lake Road, the road can be easy to miss, especially at night. A good landmark for finding the road is the Lake Temagami Access Road, which is easier to see, and only 1 mile north of Lowell Lake Road.
If you are driving north, and you see the Lake Temagami Access Road, you have come 1 mile too far. If you are driving south, and have gone more than 3 minutes passed the Lowell Lake Access Road, you have probably gone too far.
